hela Sverige Recognized as an experienced lead expert, influences at the manager level on strategic plans, projects and initiatives for their defined area of responsibility, and defines organizational plans annually to determine processes and procedures for execution within their organization. Provides analytical expertise for growth and productivity projects. Determines projects, goals, develop project plans, and facilitate execution of the plan to meet business objectives.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Assist in prioritizing actions and allocating resources with customer outcome as a guiding star
• Lead projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business, being responsible for major and complex assignments with long-term business implication
• Develop practical and innovative ways to identify and meet process improvement goals
• Serve as the Six Sigma methodology and tools expert for an assigned area or team
• Use a wing-to-wing perspective to identify potential process improvement projects
• Work with operating leaders and teams to uncover and assess
• Lean Six Sigma opportunities for GE and its suppliers
• Apply Lean Six Sigma tools to deliver significant improvement to process capability, cycle time reduction, and defect elimination
• Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams to drive standardization and simplification in a section of a wing-to-wing process - this includes providing change acceleration (CAP) methods and tools across assigned critical business initiatives
• In conjunction with Master Black Belts and Quality Leaders serve as a change agent in institutionalizing
• Lean Six Sigma methodology
• Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams empowered to execute the Lean Six Sigma strategy for process improvement
• Work to ensure the reliability, availability, and timeliness of data used to follow processes
• Communicate teams' progress to Quality Leaders, Business Leaders, and Master Black Belts
• Propose process technology improvements and capital expenditures
Qualifications/Requirements:
• MSc orequivalent in Chemistry, Engineering, or related technical field
• Lean SixSigma Black Belt certified or on track to achieve certification
• Experiencefrom a production environment
• Demonstratedtroubleshooting, analytical, and planning skills
• Demonstratedproject management skills
• Demonstrated strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently
• Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
• EU work permit
