Labs is the cross-product technology team working with all aspects of digital media at MTGx - everything from online TV, radio, sports and gaming to second screen applications. Our passion is to create world class entertainment products that people all around the world love and connect to on a daily basis.
Beskrivning av tjänsten
As a Lead Architect you will be an important part in one of our teams that create applications for either online TV, sports, radio, gaming or second screen applications. You will be a leading mind behind how the back-end infrastructure will be built for that specific product. In this role you will both work high level and define the architecture but also be hands-on and contribute technically to various projects. You will also be a driving force to deliver the architecture with your team of developers.
You have experience working with both back-end and front-end systems and technologies. You get excited when approached with complex problems to solve and are comfortable with finding adequate and qualitative solutions in order to meet time to market requirements from product management. You have been working with various media standards and technologies before and are comfortable in designing applications that can handle large amounts of data and user requests.
Among the things you are expected to produce are technical roadmaps, high level architecture plans, sequence diagrams, interface specifications, input to project managers with time lines. You probably love standing in front of a whiteboard drawing things with others, solving complex problems. You'll create a proof-of-concept demonstrating your solution in no-time.
Vem är du?
Need to have:
• Distributed systems and architecture knowledge and experience with multi-tiered mission-critical systems
• Experience with mobile first development as well as developing for multiple platforms (primarily mobile and Web)
• Solid knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts
• Bachelor or Master of Science or equivalent experience
Nice to have:
• Strong programming capabilities
• Experience in streaming applications
• Experience working as a Project Manager/Technical Project Manager
• Experience from the Broadcast industry
• You like to stay updated on what's happening in the tech scene
