Financial Processes Scania IT is a function within Scania IT responsible for providing IT to Scania's financial processes within Industrial operations, Commercial operations and Corporate control. We are creating a second2none team within Financial Processes Scania. We are looking for team members that have knowledge, right mental approach and are persistence. We shall be perceived as agile, vision driven, team based and fast-paced.
Since one of our current Lead architects will continue to new assignments, we are looking for a new Lead architect that can support our business and department in our strategic work.

Job description
The Lead architect shall coach Solution Architects within our domain.
As part of the architecture team, the Solution Architect will be responsible for establishing the optimum technology solution to meet a specific business need. You will focus on individual, or groups of related projects, in accordance with the company's enterprise architecture principles and with Scania Desired IT State. You will work with Managers, Enterprise architect, Business analysts, Developers and Business representatives.
Your main tasks will be:
Further develop and maintain a vision for the domain together with the business.
Keep an overview of the existing solutions, new development initiatives, and how they contribute to the vision.
Understand the business strategies and how domain strategies and goals contributes and communicate this within the domain and thereby lead the other architects within our domainto achieve this.
Participate in the portfolio work within the domain. Coordinate business initiatives, plan and drive architectural initiatives to reach the vision.
Visualize the domains architectural landscape in high level and secure the solutions documentation such as modelling etc is being performed in agreed way within the domain.
Secure reuse approach within the domain but also from other domain.
Your profile
We expect you to have a university degree in Computer Science, complemented with at least 10 years of architectural work. Agile method is also an advantage.
In order to be successful you also need to have:
The ability, to constructively challenge ideas and design approaches
Strong design, analytical and technical aptitude
Experience of understanding business requirements and working with key business and technology stakeholders
Good understanding of multiple architectural design patterns, ERP systems
Ability to articulate ideas and be fluent in whiteboard demonstrations
Excellent architecture diagramming capabilities
Experience and be comfortable with an Agile development environment
Verbal and written communication skills, ability to create effective requirements documents and review them with project stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.
You need to be proficient in written and spoken English.
