What you can expect
We offer you an atmosphere with skilled and dedicated people in a world leading photography company. You will have the opportunity to work in a crossfunctional team in a start-up environment where you can grow as a person and engineer, as well as taking a lead developer role as we grow our mobile engineering team. You will participate in development of new hardware products from mechanical design, to electronic components and mobile app which binds them all together. You will work with real hardware, and will be able to develop something you can show to your Mum.
Key responsibilities
• Build cutting edge Android apps that will work seamlessly with Profoto flashes
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code
• Collaborate cross functional with firmware and hardware teams
• Together with Profoto evolve the mobile roadmap and vision
Your profile
• Minimum 4 years working experience as an Android developer
• Experience from working with enterprise level apps
• Experience from test driven development
• Experience in functional reactive programming paradigm and preferable working experience with LiveData
• Experience with Google Architecture components
• Experience with a Kotlin Coroutines
• Passion for UX and quality
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Personal interest and technical understanding of photography is advantageous
