BRP Group is searching for a Cyber Security Manager to take full ownership of cybersecurity across our entire organization. In this key role, you will oversee both IT security (ITSec) and application security (AppSec), ensuring strong protection across all aspects of our business.

The role & key responsibilities
As the corporate IT Security Lead, you will drive and enforce security policies, ensure compliance, and establish governance and best practices. You will also collaborate with IT Operations across our locations. Your responsibilities will include:
Application Security: Ensure secure development processes, conduct security assessments, and maintain compliance.
Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Work closely with product teams to enhance in-product security, perform assessments, and follow up on security measures.
Cloud Operations Security: Secure our SaaS infrastructure and ensure compliance with security best practices.
Compliance Leadership: Lead security-related efforts for ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI-DSS, and other key regulations.
Stakeholder Engagement: Represent BRP in security discussions with customers, partners, and leadership.
Budget & Reporting: Manage security budgets, track costs, and provide security reports to senior leadership.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a proactive leader who can drive and implement security initiatives. You might already be in a leadership role in cybersecurity, or this could be your next career step. The most important thing is your passion for both the strategic and hands-on aspects of cybersecurity.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Strong expertise in both IT security and application security.
Experience with security frameworks and standards such as CIS, ISO 27001, OWASP, and secure software development processes.
Hands-on experience implementing security measures is a strong plus.
Excellent communication skills-you can explain security concepts clearly to executives, developers, and IT teams.
Familiarity with network security, endpoint security, and AppSec concepts (e.g., OWASP, SAST, DAST).
