Lead Analysis Engineer - Polymer Materials Body & Trim

The Durability Department is responsible for the attributes Strength & Endurance, Corrosion, Retained Newness, Robustness to Fire and ?Mechanical Theft Protection. The responsibility includes target setting, CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) analysis, testing in laboratory as well as full vehicle testing on proving ground. We perform component and system testing in related areas of mechanical or material testing and chemical analysis.

The group Polymer Materials Body & Trim is responsible for the attribute Retained Newness, developing requirements, target setting and the verification process of component, system and complete vehicle verification for Polymer Materials Body & Trim.

We are now looking for a Lead Analysis Engineer, a role where you will lead the testing in all projects for one Section within Body & Trim. You will have a close cooperation with the system responsible and Group Design Leaders at the sections you are working with. Your responsibilities will be to secure that the test results, deviations and reports are delivered on time. You will perform tests and follow up that the rest of the team have the right prerequisites to deliver.

Main responsibilities:

* Through close cooperation with the engineering departments, develop a test plans that deliver the results on the promised time
* Monitor the testing and deliver the test results according to the agreed plan
* Perform system and component testing
* Analyse the complete vehicle tests
* Perform lab audits at our supplier's sites

Personal qualities

* Project management skills, ability to drive tasks towards goals and deliver on time
* Customer oriented
* Strong communication skills
* Eager to work in a group and to cooperate with other people
* Work experience within Interior or Exterior Engineering is meritorious

Required qualifications

* B.Sc. degree in chemical or mechanical engineering
* At least three years' experience from automotive business or polymer materials or equivalent
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken
