The QA Lead Engineer is a key role responsible for the continuous reinforcement of established Quality Assurance fundamental practices that are utilized in the local business. The QA Lead Engineer is responsible for providing support to the manufacturing site in accordance with documented procedures and practices. The QA Lead Engineer may lead programs and initiatives and/or have responsibility for coaching more junior engineers.
Essential Responsibilities:
Develop existing local Quality Management System, support local business during internal and external audits.
Lead local global customer complaint handling resolution process.
Develop and manage distribution of customer communication in quality related matter.
Lead programs and initiatives and/or have responsibility for coaching more junior engineers.
Support local business functions to secure quality and regulatory compliance in accordance with documented procedures.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor?s Degree in an engineering or technical discipline (or non-technical degree with several years of proven experience in manufacturing, engineering or quality assurance experience in addition to any other experience requirements).
Demonstrated understanding of product development life cycles, design change and document change control, process verification and validation methodologies and manufacturing / production process control methodologies.
Demonstrated expertise to effectively communicate within all levels of an organization.
Demonstrated collaboration, negotiation & conflict resolution skills.
Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering experience.
EU work permit.
Desired Characteristics:
Excellent oral communication & report, business correspondence & procedure-writing skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead, acknowledge, develop, communicate & implement a strategy under crisis situations to ensure compliance.
Change agent with energy, passion & enthusiasm to drive change.
Ability to multi-task & handle tasks with competing priorities effectively.
Ability to simplify a strategy into specific actions with clear accountability, making decisions with speed & accuracy based on best available information.
