The successful candidate will work with a team of experienced IC design and layout engineers to develop state-of-the-art integrated circuits. The candidate will be involved in floor planning, full custom layout and verification of high-performance Analog and Mixed-Signal products in a Cadence based design flow.

You need relevant experience with:

• Cadence Virtuoso Layout XL.

• CMOS/BiCMOS IC technologies (180nm - 45nm).

• Layout verification tools (Assura, Calibre, PVS).

• Good debugging skills and knowledge of LVS, ERC, DRC verifications.

• Database management concepts.

• MS Office.

• Flexibility to switch between different projects on different technology platforms.

• Initiative and curiosity when confronted with layout induced design problems.

• Proactive team player.

• Ability to communicate well with circuit designers regarding schematic optimization for layout.

• Capacity to take on board new approaches and working methods.

• Broad knowledge of Cadence, UNIX and Windows working environments.

• Able to address matching requirements, IR drops, parasitic capacitances, isolation techniques, DFM and electro-migration.

• Basic knowledge of electronics circuit design and device functionality.

• 2-5 years of layout experience
