Launch Marketing Communication Manager

The purpose of this position is to support implementation of successful project launches for Volvo Trucks new products by securing launch strategy deliverables from the Brand, Marketing and Communication area. It is a three-year project assignment.

Key responsibilities
• Represent the Brand, Marketing & Communication function in the launch team
• Take an active part in creating the total picture and the awareness of total launch deliverables
• Build and manage a launch team within B, M & C that work together with other cross-functional launch functions
• Take strategic decisions in cooperation with the launch project.
• Capture global needs. Develop solution portfolio.
• Manage B, M & C launch budget
• Make up plans for total delivery from B, M & C incl. content and timing
• Secure agreed deliverables from B, M & C to other members in the launch team and/or other stakeholders
• Secure implementation of launch strategy deliverables from your and other units, and support global roll-out
• Keep the B,M&C function and Sales Area Marketing & Communications functions updated/informed about project progress.
• Prepare decision material and supply to launch CPM when applicable
• Deliver plans and status to the Project Planning & Co-ordination Manager
• Interact closely with the Launch Event managers who keep together the overall direction for a product / segment

Requested qualifications

The right individual should have experience from former major product launches within Volvo Trucks and managing of cross-functional teams, as well as budget management.
