We are now seeking qualified teachers to join our fantastic working environment for the next academic school year 2020/21.
We are looking for:
• Qualified, professional Home Economics/HKK teacher for our school.
• Enthusiastic, committed, team-player, willing to go the extra mile for students and colleagues.
• Engaged mentor for students.
The subject is taught in accordance with the Swedish curriculum, entirely in English by a native English speaker or in Swedish by a native Swedish speaker as per IES standards and ethos.
IES Västerås opened in August of 2012 with 410 students in grades 4-9. We have grown and now have 768 students in grades 4-9. Our school is very community-centered, and we focus on building a climate based on our four core values: respect, honesty, hard work and safety. All people in our school--students, staff and parents--are expected to work with these values daily.
