Your main responsibilities will be:
• Plan, implement and conclude laboratory work on assigned projects within the specified time frame.
• Build project team that may include customer or industry vendors as needed to complete the work.
• Responsible for product implementation through manufacturing, QC, customer trials and end use converting to product establishment.
• Utilize your technical knowledge to recommend existing products, formulate new ink systems or make technical recommendations to customers, sales or technical personnel.
• Recognizing internal or customer problems and generating an appropriate corrective course of action.
• Fully complete assigned projects and communicate the results through internal documents, customer trial reports, technical data sheets and presentations.
To be successful in this role:
• You have a degree in Chemistry, Polymer science or Chemical Engineering or equivalent, preferably with experience in the formulation of pigmented ink systems.
• You have preferably technical knowledge in the printing ink market segment.
• You have working knowledge of a range of printing processes and chemistries
• You understand the function of raw materials and routinely make recommendations for raw material consolidation, cost reduction and product improvement.
• You are structured and have the ability to think analytically. You also have a practical and creative approach to problem solving. You enjoy working in a team and your communication skills are well developed.
• Your English is very good, both verbally and written.
