What's in it for you?

Labour Affairs is a sub-team within the department Employee Affairs, with great interest in labour law issues and union relations, with a responsibility for Labour Affairs issues for Volvo Cars Sweden as well as a global governance for the entire Volvo Car Group. If you are the right person for this job, you will realise the opportunity to play a key role for the continuous work with GDPR compliance within Human Resources. You will work in collaboration with local HR and managers within the different business functions as well as the unions and the employers' association. You'll see how coaching and supporting in labour law issues will drive positive change throughout the company, and how the results in terms of you being a good negotiator and good networker will contribute both to the company's growth and to your own professional development.



What you'll do

Half of your time your role will be as the Data Protection Coordinator for Human Resources serving as a key advisor and liaison between the Data Protection Organization and Human Resources, ensuring proper data protection and data subject request process management as well as coaching and supporting with question regarding GDPR. In the role as a Labour Affairs Expert, you will be responsible for one or several functions supporting in union negotiations and labour law issues and agreements, managing personnel issues as well as labour law related trainings. You will as well work with:
* Blue collar wages and systems
* Creating new or updated working hour schedules/systems
* Projects and improvement work
* Participation in suitable networks



Do you fit the profile?
* University education within the Human Resource and/or Labour law area
* Experience in working with labour law issues
* Knowledge in labour law and GDPR regulations and interest in collective labour agreements
* Experience of union collaboration and negotiation work
* Good communication skills, oral and written, both in Swedish and English


Meritorious
* Experience working with mergers & acquisitions and competence shifts is qualifying

To succeed in this role you need to be able to interact with people on different levels in the organization, having an ability to quickly learn and understand business processes. In order to fully enjoy the job you also need to have high integrity and feel comfortable in the role as an employer representative. Furthermore you need to be a networker to be able to seek for ways to establish credibility, and influence your relations. Lastly you have a structured and driving personality with ability to work independently, as this is required for you in this position.
