We are now looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our client in central Stockholm. The company develops and manufactures HLA typing products for use with two different methods: qPCR and PCR. The products are developed for both the European and the US markets and are used in transplantation for matching between recipients and donors. HLA typing is a standardized test for bone marrow and organ transplants; the better the match, the lower the complication risk after transplantation.

Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will consist of laboratory work in the form of in-process reagent qualification, analysis, and documentation. The work also includes customary tasks that occur in a PCR lab, such as handling and maintenance of instruments as well as arrival controls of raw materials.
You will be performing routine operational lab tasks, these include:
Perform pre-production manufacture of primer stock solution
Perform pre-production quality control testing
Perform post-production quality control testing
Perform incoming controls on various lab goods
Perform cycle counting duties for accurate stock assessments
Collaborate with team mates to ensure products are available for manufacture on time
Aid in the preparation of documents for the manufacturing team
Qualifications
Degree in molecular biology, biotechnology, or chemistry
Knowledge within PCR and documented experience of laboratory production work/ industrial routine lab work
Candidates with background within HLA is highly merited
Excellent knowledge of English is a requirement, and it is beneficial if you also speak Swedish
