Stora Enso AB is looking for a Laboratory Technician for resin synthesis and applications in Solutions & Formulations team. The candidate within Stora Enso Innovation & Strategic Marketing will be involved in cutting edge research projects in the field of bio-based chemicals and processes.
The responsibilities include synthesis of bio-based resins and composites.
You will be part of a dynamic team and report to the Laboratory Director. The position will be located at Stora Enso's new Innovation Center in Sickla, Stockholm, Sweden.
You will be part of a growing team that is the key to our journey towards renewable materials company.
Main Tasks
Your main tasks will be to carry out and optimise the preparation of bio-based resins and application formulations and testing of final materials in different applications.
You will ensure recording and documentation of the data and work with general laboratory work (coordination of work processes, ensure timely procurement of equipment, chemicals and consumables, administration of experimental samples and chemicals, monitoring of test materials).
Core Qualifications & Skills
We are looking for a person with a dynamic work attitude with analytical and systematic approach. You have good team working and communication skills and a readiness to work in an international multicultural environment. Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Swedish is an advantage.
To succeed in this role we believe that you have a Degree of Laboratory Technician or equivalent from Vocational School, Professional University, Applied Technology University, College of higher vocational studies, University of Applied Sciences or similar. You have proven laboratory experience; 5-7 years of experience and good knowledge in resin synthesis and formulations.
