hela Sverige GMC Gothenburg laboratory employ 10 persons (excluding manager). Three at Chemistry, five at Metallurgy & two at Bearing Investigation. We are now searching for a Laboratory Specialist at Metallurgy Department.
Job responsibilities
• Perform Metallographic investigations supporting manufacturing, application engineers and product / process development
• Provide competency in-line with SKF needs in the field of Metallurgy
• Quality assurance & Business Excellence
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement of the laboratory's processes, the quality of work and the team spirit, this to continuously improve customer satisfaction in laboratory services
• Contribute in development of the Global Metallurgy / Chemistry Laboratory in sharing of knowledge and coordination of activities related to Metallurgy
Job requirements
• University degree in the field of Materials science, preferably with a few years of laboratory working experience related to Metallographic investigation techniques
• Good communication skills, being fluent in Swedish and English
• Experience from Heat Treatment is a merit
