Are you a proactive team player with educational background within Chemistry and interest for laboratory work? Do you want to work in a laboratory and with research, development and innovation?
We now have an immediate opening as RD&I Laboratory Engineer to join the RD&I Technical Support Team, based in Stenungsund. AkzoNobel has a unique technology base and profound experience in the production of high quality cellulose derivatives, specialty polymers and additives. In the RD&I Technical Support Team in Stenungsund we take care of support to product development projects, continuous improvement and our customers with a strong focus on rheology modifiers for waterborne architectural paint.
Main responsibilities:
• Active participation in RD&I projects by planning, executing and reporting of lab work.
• Active participation in technical support activities for paint customers and internal continuous improvement activities
• Responsible for keeping test methods and equipment up to date in close cooperation with QC-labs
• Responsible for ordering raw materials and lab supplies
Job requirements/Candidate profile
• Bachelor or Master degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Proactive, independent and result driven
• Team player with communication and interpersonal skills
• You have a drive for creating a safe and healthy working environment
• Additional experiences from Paint and Coatings are considered a merit.
