hela Sverige We are now seeking our next colleague, a Laboratory Engineer, within Nouryon Performance Formulations, Sweden. As Laboratory Engineer, you will play an active role within RD- projects and provide technical support training and activities for customers as well as distributors and colleagues. Additional responsibilities within this role are continuous improvement activities as well as to participate in planning and evaluation of development products and external products.
Main responsibilities
Active participation in RD&I projects, technical support activities for customers and internal continuous improvement activities
• Preparation and evaluation of paint and B&C formulations as well as water solutions
• Capturing the results in reports and presentations
Responsible for keeping our test methods and equipment up to date in close cooperation with QC-labs
• Align quality control procedures in Stenungsund with methods used in our QC-labs.
• Stay up to date with development in paint and B&C applications and testing equipment
• Be responsible for maintenance and calibration of equipment
Responsible for ordering raw materials and lab equipment
Be prepared to travel to production sites and occasionally to customers.
Participate in planning and carrying out evaluation of development products and external products
• Preparation and evaluation of paint and B&C formulations and water solutions
Active participation in technical trainings for our salespeople and distributors
Participate in preparation of education material and promotion material.
Qualifications
B.Sc. or M.Sc., in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Paint & Coatings
Proactive, independent and result driven
Team player with communication and interpersonal skills
Drive for creating a safe and healthy working environment
Fluent in English, both written and spoken

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Section Manager Application Dev Paint and based in Stenungsund, Sweden.
