hela Sverige We have an immediate opening for a Laboratory Engineer at the Bleaching Chemicals Process RD&I department in Bohus, Sweden.
As a Laboratory Engineer your main focus is performing laboratory work to support RD&I projects at the department. You will contribute to the development of process and applications as well as to the continuous build-up of knowledge in our field.
Main responsibilities
• Perform laboratory evaluations to assist RD&I projects and activities and to support plants as agreed with manager, project leader, or client
• Run pilot tests for process improvement or development
• Working in the full scale environment with R&D activities and with supporting the plants in trouble shooting and implementation of new solutions
• Operate and optimize test equipment (laboratory and pilot) used in development efforts
• Evaluate, report and present results internally
• Suggest changes in working conditions and use of labor saving techniques to increase lab efficiency
• Ensure that appropriate methods and equipment are used for the experiments
• Secure that lab equipment is used, maintained and calibrated in a correct way
Your profile:
• Technical high school, BSc or corresponding
• Relevant experience, e.g. experience from analytical laboratories or research laboratories or experience as application engineer within sales
• Strong focus on safety, following all established safety rules and procedures is a must
• Highly skilled in laboratory work with the ability to perform accurate and consistent chemical analytical work
• Able to develop experimental set ups
• Results oriented and efficient, yet flexible and able to prioritize
• Structured and able to provide structured documentation
• Good ability to cooperate
• Good level in English, additional languages a merit
