We are currently recruiting a temporary Laboratory assistant (2 years), to the Technical Market Support department, ELI, based in Nynäshamn.
As the position holder you will we responsible for performing laboratory analysis/tests according to plan
set by the Project Manager /Technical Manager ELI and see to that the analyses and tests are performed
according to Standards. Your work tasks will also consist of performing test blends for internal and
external analysis and coordination of the use of laboratory equipment/instruments with other users.
The successful candidate for this position has an education within chemistry, chemical engineering or
material science. Experience from Chemical industry in terms of laboratory work in projects or
investigations is a prerequisite as are well developed English skills. Developed IT knowledge is required
with skills in MS Office and Lotus Notes and you should have an interest in chemical industry products.
On the personal level you are responsible, loyal and stable. You find it easy to establish and maintain
contacts and have a service oriented mindset. We value the ability to comprehend and act in accordance
with company policy and managerial instruction as well as an understanding and acceptance of cultural
differences. You have a drive for results and a concern for doing a good job. Another trait needed for this
position is the ability to work independently.
