hela Sverige Are you a student within Biomedical Laboratory Scientist (BMA), Medicine, or Chemistry? Are you interested in learning more about laboratory work and work in our in-house lab? We have the perfect summer job for you, that can potentially turn in to part-time job besides your studies!
As a Laboratory Assistant, you will support our Application & Clinical Support as well as the Scientific Affairs department. This is the perfect summer job for you who would like to work with tasks directly related to your education and get an insight into hematology laboratory work as well as learning more about digital microscopy.
Key tasks as Laboratory Assistant:
• Laboratory work in our in-house lab
• Analysis of blood smears and evaluation of the result
• Documentation of blood smears (slides) in a database
• Easier slide making and staining tasks
• Extraction and preparation of analysis data in Excel

Qualifications
• A student within Biomedical Laboratory Scientist (BMA), Medicine or Chemistry with at least 1-2 years left of your studies
• You have a strong interest in laboratory work, preferably within hematology
• Good laboratory practice - you know how to behave in a laboratory and what kind of consequences it could bring.
Nice to have:
• Clinical laboratory experience from the hospital or other types of lab
• Experience in cell morphology
