Professional and motivated employees ensure our success and we are now looking for a Lab Technician.
As a Lab Technician you are responsible for mainly laboratory based technical work to support UV Sheetfed field activity and to co-ordinate internal functions to support the UV product management team.
Main Responsibilities
• Carry out laboratory testing and analysis on samples supplied to support Flint Group external teams.
• Support the UV Sheetfed product manufacturing and quality process at Trelleborg, including internal analysis of systems and samples.
• Integral link between product development laboratory, quality control, production and application specialists at customer sites to support the production and modification of UV Sheetfed products.
• Produce high level technical reports and documentation.
• Perform formulation adjustment in SAP.
• Track the success of new products.
Requirements
• A chemical education and a solid working experience from laboratory work, preferably within the inks, coatings or packaging field.
• Knowledge about UV Sheetfed printing inks and product coding and classification rules for Global Packaging ink products is an advantage.
• Ability to create effective documents in order to provide product and project information.
• Ability to use technical applications equipment and interpret and communicate results.
• Ability to plan and execute problem solving activities efficiently.
• Strong communication skills with excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Self-directed, self-motivated and assertive.
• Excellent computer literacy skills.
• SAP experience is considered a plus.
• Ability to travel within Europe.
