WHAT WILL YOU WORK WITH?
As Lab Technician in the Production Test Group you run the day-to-day work in our labs to make sure that our projects and our production run as smoothly as possible. Axis has a broad product portfolio and work with a number of different manufacturing sites, which gives a wide and varied range of support needs. In this position you have contact with our global contract partners who manufacture our products to make sure it runs smoothly.
You will work in a team of three people with the shared responsibility of running our test labs and supporting our partners with test equipment. Flexibility and problem solving is on the daily agenda.
Your main tasks will be:
Conducting stability tests to evaluate the quality of our test systems as well as our products
Order lab material
Order, assemble, test and send test equipment to our manufacturing sites
Assemble and install computers which are to be used in our test systems
Trouble shooting computers and test equipment
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We think you are a service minded and hands-on person who has a genuine technical interest. You are methodical and work in a structured way. Since the job includes a lot of problem solving, we believe you have an analytical mindset. Ability to communicate is fundamental both in the contact with our manufacturing sites and internally.
At Axis each employee contributes to a positive team spirit and working environment, it is therefore important that you have good interpersonal skills and an open mind. The work involves a lot of freedom and independence, which requires that you are proactive and take initiative.
Furthermore, you have:
A high school degree or equivalent, preferably with a technical focus
Good knowledge and interest in computers and electronics
Experience of soldering
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
You are fluent in Swedish, both written and spoken
It is also an advantage if you have:
Experience of working in an electronics/mechanical lab environment
Experience of troubleshooting both SW and HW
Experience of production test
Experience of test hardware like bed-of-nail fixtures and instrumentation
