The role
In the role as System Verification Engineer/ Lab Responsible you will be part of a team responsible for verification and data production for all components within Volvo Group Energy Storage Systems. This includes cell-, module- and battery management system components. You'll lead and develop the yearly lab service and maintenance cycle alongside ensuring that safety routines are followed up and updated. You actively work on the lab development, including the roadmap and improvement of the ways of working.
The assignment includes (but is not limited to) the following tasks:
Set and follow-up safety procedures, risk assessments & working procedures in lab
Lead technical work in procurement of instruments
Set service & maintenance schedule of instruments
Set and follow up test request procedures, schedule tests
Evaluate external test institutes in terms of technical performance
Lead lab development incl. setting up new labs
Development of automated rigs
Requirements:
We believe that to be successful in this position, you have at least eight years of experience from automotive verification and automated test systems. It is meritorious to have previous experience from managing a lab and/or electromobility verification, especially within battery verification.
To succeed in this role, you must show strong leadership and have a strategic ability. You are comfortable with guiding and directing others toward our common goals and visions. It is important that you have a structured approach with attention to details. You are willing to do the hands-on work as well as taking a step back to see and understand the bigger picture of where we are going.
