hela Sverige Exploration and Geotechnical Drilling is a division within Atlas Copco?s Mining and Rock Excavation Technique business area. It develops, manufactures, and markets equipment for exploration drilling and geotechnical engineering. The division is headquartered in Märsta, Sweden, with five production units in North America, Europe and Asia.
To our newly started group Exploration Base Development & Systems Solutions (EB&S) we are now looking for a Lab Engineer.
Job description
The lab engineer shall plan, perform and document the tests needed for the various projects within EB&S. He/she shall also work part time with similar tasks within product development projects as well as continuous engineering. This also includes root cause analysis on failed parts from the field (from prototypes or production machines).
The lab engineer will also perform software testing including writing related reports.
Experience requirements:
• Minimum five years working experience with at least two years as an exploration driller
• Have at least one year experience in a practical technical role (mechanics, service engineer etc.)
Knowledge:
• Ability of documenting lab tests
• Skills in software testing
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, verbally and in writing

Country and city description
The position is located in GDE's headquarter in Märsta, close to Arlanda airport and about 40 km outside Stockholm.
