Play an important role at Atlas Copco Industrial Technique as lab engineer for the development of high-quality tools used by industry customers worldwide.

Your role
You are responsible for assembling and testing our prototypes and products. This is more than a hands-on role, as you are involved from the design phase to release of products to global customers. You work in close cooperation with design, quality, production, and other functions within the organization. This is an exciting role for someone who has a passion for mechatronic systems and has the relevant knowledge and experience of integration and testing.
You are part of a team with expertise in the driveline of our industrial tools. The team supports the rest of our R&D organization in maintaining existing products and in the development of new products and solutions.

Your main tasks:
Assemble prototypes and integrate modules together (mechanical, electrical and software).
Perform and setup testing (safety, functionality, performance, endurance at both component and system level) both in-house and at external sites.
Analyze and understand test results.
Develop, improve, and maintain lab equipment.
Contribute to test and verification processes and documentation.
Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues within your area of expertise.


You report to Team Manager Driveline within our Mechatronics department, R&D.

City: Nacka, Stockholm. We have a hybrid workplace.

To succeed, you will need
You hold a degree in engineering, or other relevant academic education, and have a broad technical knowledge in different aspects of mechatronic systems. You like hands on activities and have experience assembling and testing equipment, where several disciplines are integrated together (mechanical, electrical, software). You enjoy problem solving and troubleshooting physical hardware. You are a team player who wants to learn new techniques and working methods that benefit our products, customers and organization.
