About the position
We are now looking for a highly motivated analytical chemist with some experience and interest in ADME and bioanalysis.
What you will do
The work is largely lab-based. Main analytical techniques are liquid chromatography (LC) and mass spectrometry (MS). Typical tasks involve:
• Performance of:
o physicochemical and ADME assays (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism & Excretion)
o Bioanalysis of primarily small molecules and peptides
• Delivery of data and reports to support drug discovery projects
• Communication with clients and team members - often in global and multi-disciplinary settings
• Install, maintain, repair and upgrade analytical and laboratory equipment
What we look for
Must have
• Minimum education: MSc in chemistry with focus on analytical chemistry
• Minimum 1-2 years of industrial experience - preferably from biotech or pharma
• A structured way of working and ability to make document experiments and results in writing.
• Confidence with communication in English, preferably also in Swedish.
• An ability to build and maintain trustworthy interactions with colleagues and clients.
• A desire for delivering results while working with deadlines.
Meritorious
• Working knowledge of ADME and bioanalysis
• Working knowledge with LC and/or MS. To succeed in the role, you will need to be able to operate independently as well as part of a team.
