hela Sverige Do you have what it takes to enable the future of energy? Northvolt is right now looking for a Lab Development Engineer for our Battery Systems Unit. In joining us you will play an important part in the transformation to a carbon free society.
As a Lab Development Engineer, you will play an important role in generating reliable, consistent, and accurate data supporting manufacturing engineering projects. The main tasks relate to planning, performing, and reporting work for tests and experimental studies, supporting the industrialisation teams.
Key responsibilities:
• Plan, perform and report work according to project plans
• Create documents, including test plans and reports.
• Perform data analysis and present results from research and development tests.
• Document work, data analysis and results according to requirements.
• Establish work instructions and templates.
• Instrument responsibility.
• Continuously improve the existing laboratory methods and processes.
• Collaborates with cross functional teams from R&D, Quality & Safety and Production
Qualifications/education/experience:
• Time management skills generating both short- and long-term solutions in parallel
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• 1+ years of experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering within a manufacturing context (ideal)
• Familiarity with battery module/pack manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, semiconductor, manufacturing, or other similar industries.
• English fluency required (Swedish preferred)
· Experience in working in international teams and with customers
• Superior time management, communication, and ability to work under high pressure
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently
• Highly communicative and organized
• Shows grit and determination in finding the most balanced solution
• Possesses a can do-attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit
• Understands that we are building a company and culture while we are building batteries
