At Massive Entertainment, a Ubisoft Studio we are currently looking for a Lab Coordinator join our Malmö studio. You will work with several game related projects and support them in the full user research cycle. As a Lab Coordinator you will be responsible for moderating the external players coming to our facilities, regarding all the administrative work and coordination and playtest set up. Furthermore you will work closely with the Game User Researcher helping collect data, recruit, take part of the studies and update databases.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate, moderate and supervise studies and provide support according to development stages
• Collaborate with the user research team to thoroughly understand and validate the design intentions
• Set up and rearrange the playtest room
• Validate the technical aspect of the playtests (multiplayer connections, stability of the versions that are used, etc.)
• Evangelize the principles and benefits of user research and user centered design
• Administrate, structure and support with different tasks connected to the lab and tests
You as a person
You are a structured, with great organizing, coordination and communication skills. You are a sociable person that enjoy providing support to your team, other internal colleagues and play testers. Furthermore, you are a great teammate, dedicated to the job and you easily and efficiently interact with people. At the same time, you have the ability to work independently and like working within large groups and in multiple projects at a time. You have a skilled eye for spotting essential details, and you are capable to handle large amounts of information in an efficient manner by prioritization and multi-tasking.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Good technical knowledge to be able to handle, install and support before, during and after tests
• Basic knowledge and experience in user research
• Experience from an administrative, support or coordinating role
• Interest and understanding of video games is a must
