A successful candidate will join our Research Team and will also be part of our newly started Bioenergy business area, where we work interdisciplinary and agile in 2-week cycles. The assistant will get the chance to experience how the team works in parallel with other teams such as marketing and sales, product development, manufacturing and customer support.
The Research Team is dedicated to measuring properties of different biomass. The laboratory performs research oriented experiments and measurements and also supports the Customer Support Team. The work will involve e.g. visiting our customers and collecting samples of different types of biomass, such as wood chips and logging residues. In our facilities at Kista, the duties include preparing and analyzing samples properties with our X-ray equipment and performing reference laboratory work on the samples using several methods. Computer work and discussions with our researchers about different properties of the materials is also part of the work tasks.
For us, it's important that you are curious about working in a research/development environment.
Factors of importance include responsibility, precision, and quality awareness. You should be able to express yourself well in both written and spoken English and preferably also in
Swedish.
We will also give major consideration to your ability to work both independently and in a team.
It is an advantage if you have laboratory work experience, and we value practical experience with Microsoft Excel and databases.
A Class B driving license is preferred.
