Our customer is a large consultancy company within IT/R&D with an international working environment. Their local office is located in Malmö but the assignment will be performed in Lund.
Publiceringsdatum2011-11-10Dina arbetsuppgifterThe scope of the assignment is as a Layer 23 or End-2-End (Full stack) Test engineer for WCDMA.
You will work with test of new functionality in an early phase in Modem SW development projects. It includes test analysis, test case development, test execution, fault analysis and troubleshooting. The assignment also includes writing test specifiations. You will use network simulators and live test network.
ProfilRequired competence
• Experience from Network Signalling testing on either mobile or network side. An alternative is experience from development in this area, with close connection to test activities.
• Knowledge of UMTS / WCDMA / HSDPA / EUL standards.
• Minimum Master of Science or similar degree in relevant Telecommunication/Engineering field.
• A deep interest in technique and testing and eager to solve related problems.
• Programming knowledge.
• Good communication skills in spoken and written English.
• Ability to work both independently and in small teams and are focused on reaching results on time.
Wanted competence
It would be an advantage if you also have experiences in:
• Experience in working with system simulators and oneboxtesters, Anritsu MD8480 and MD8430, Agilent 8960, Rohde & Schwarz SMU200, CMU200 or CMW500.
• Experience of running Lauterbach in OSE environment
• Programming experience in C/C++ and Python.
• Experience from working abroad in an international environment.
• Personal qualities: You have a structured way of working and you are a driving force. A co-operative approach and good communication skills are necessary. You shall be analytic and methodical in your way of working. You shall also be good in solving problems. You shall be willing to learn and work both theoretically and practically.
