Key responsibilities
As a customer oriented technician you are a part of Micvac customer team, taking part in leading and driving internal and external technical projects. You are involved in customer projects making quotes and responsible for the technical solution, specifications, cost calculations and timeline for the part that involves technique, equipment and packaging. You have contact with customers and suppliers on an everyday basis as support and speaking partner in technical matters. An important part is taking the responsibility for installation, start-up, quality assurance and training of the Micvac method and equipment at new and existing customers.
You are an active partner for the customer with continuous follow up to improve and support the running production and development.
Together with the key account manager you are involved in the whole process. You report to the Technical director. In the projects you have a close collaboration with the colleagues from technical, sales, marketing, finance and supply.
Internally you are a part of development projects for both equipment and packaging material together with Micvac suppliers. In the international environment the travelling is more of a lifestyle with 60-80 travelling days per year.
You have good language skills where English is most important when meeting with customers and suppliers. Knowledge of other languages is a merit eg Russian, Spanish, German or French.
• Take responsibility for installation, start-up and training of Micvac equipment and method.
• Adapt and develop recipes together with customers using the Micvac method
• Take part and sometimes lead projects within technical service
• Part of the Key Account Management team with responsibility for the equipment, service and improvements at the customers.
• Trouble-shooting both packaging material and equipment at existing customers
• Take part in development projects of equipment and packaging material internally and with Micvac suppliers
Education/experience
We think that you have a degree in engineering in a relevant field and some years working experience as a technician with customer contacts. Your experience involves both theory and practical work. You need a good understanding of the full picture in the production line and you are comfortable in discussions with the customer. It's an advantage if you have experience from technical sales and/or industrial food production.
As a person you are open and outgoing and a good listener. You are customer and solution oriented. You value the team and is committed to create a good working atmosphere but can also work independently and stand up for your cause. We think that you have a genuine interest in food.
