Randstad Technologies is looking for a Kubernetes Operations Expert to our Stockholm based client active within streaming and media services.
For this assignment you can work as a hired consultant for Randstad Technologies or as a subcontractor.
We are looking for a Kubernetes operations expert that will join our client's team that enables the client's engineers to ship resource configuration quickly, safely and at scale.
The declarative infrastructure platform is built on top of Kubernetes and they work closely with Google. They own our kubernetes clusters running on Google Cloud Platform and are looking for someone to help us scale it to support increased load and to inform our overall reliability strategy.

Responsibilities
Support day to day cluster administration for our Kubernetes clusters.
Perform cluster upgrades, maintenance, and general support of our Kubernetes clusters.
Perform scalability and reliability planning for our Kubernetes clusters.
Ensure our clusters scale with the increased load due to adoption of our products.
Mentor existing team members in your expert areas
Maintain and update our internal tooling and services
Qualifications
You know how to handle the day to day operations of Kubernetes clusters at scale
You are experienced with operations of Kubernetes clusters, GKE specifically is preferred.
You are passionate about infrastructure as code
You can use scripting languages where needed to glue pieces together
You have enough experience with Java or Go to maintain and build tooling to support the infrastructure.
You have a systematic problem-solving approach coupled with effective communication skills and drive.
