Position description:
We are for an experienced Design Engineer - Leader to deliver our future projects.
The person will work with system designers and product managers in the concept phase of platforms and projects and lead the design work in the industrialization phase of the project. The team consists of CAD engineers, test engineers, suppliers and you will lead the team towards technical, financial and timing targets. Since fuel lines and EVAP system has boundaries to most engineering areas in the vehicle, you will have a large network within Research & Development.
Main responsibilities:
• To lead the team creating technical solutions for fuel lines, carbon canisters, valves, sensors and fasteners
• Documenting the assignment by updating and releasing documentation for systems and components
• To push forward and establish the necessary decisions for the handling of deviations
• Assuring the quality of design solutions by analysing needs and follow-up examinations
• Ordering test objects, soft and hard tools and bought assignments
Primary Skills Required:
• KDP & TCE
• FMEA
• Agile working in scrum teams (SAFe framework)
• Team Minutes/Lotus Notes.
• Swedish & English, both verbal and written.
• Be driven and wellspoken with suppliers
Additional Skills Preferred:
• Catia V5 skills are highly preffered.
• Other laguages than English are considered to be a valuable qualification.
• Precost, Procost
• 6-sigma, green belt
Experience Required:
• Design experience.
• Change management in KDP with ÄO and VCC-concern
• Presentational skills
• VPDS/GPDS
Additional Experience Preferred:
• Design experience in PA, rubber and steel materials
• Design experience in fuellines/fuelsystem components for petrol, ethanol, diesel and/or CNG.
• Costmanagement
Education Required:
• BSc. or experienced engineer with senior highschool
Additional Education Preferred:
• MSc.
