Naval Vessel Section in Vessel Systems - Business Unit Surface Ships
The Section handles all military ships within the Business Unit Surface Ships. Our work consists of hydro-mechanical calculations and design work within the hull and equipment area. We are a section of sixteen employees who needs to expand.
Main accountabilities
• Weight and stability calculations
• Speed-power and range calculations
• Sea-keeping properties
• General Arrangement Drawings
• Production support
• Participate in sea trials
• Requirement analysis
• Conducting studies and R&D
Qualification Profile
Requirements
• Minimum Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture or equivalent
• Good knowledge in 2D and 3D CAD tools
• Good knowledge in relevant analytical tools
• Good written and oral skills in Swedish and English
• Good knowledge of MS Office programs
Meritorious
• Experience of international laws and regulations in the technical field
• Good knowledge of SOLAS
• Good knowledge in Swedish Maritime Administration's (SMA) laws and regulations
• Experience of classification societies such as DNV
• Knowledge of the German language
• Experience in working with people from different cultures
Personal Qualifications Profile
• Structured and meticulous
• Flexible and service minded
• Good communication and teaching skills
