Cooks on a daily basis for the Deputy Chief of Mission. Cooks frequently for entertainment functions for senior Swedish governmental and business leaders and the diplomatic corps. Does the majority of the food purchasing for the Residence in coordination with the Residence Manager. Responsible for the cleanliness and efficient operation of the kitchen, larder, and dining areas. Orders replacement equipment and utensils for the kitchen. Identifies need for additional help for large entertainment events.
Publiceringsdatum2022-01-26Utbildning och erfarenhetCompletion of secondary school and vocational school. Three years of previous experience are desirable. Must be able to prepare food for receptions (of several hundred people) and for formal seated dinners of from seven to forty. Creativity in the preparation and presentation of food is desirable. Must be able to manage the entire kitchen operation effectively. Working knowledge in English is required.
