• Responsible of designing the knitted part of the collections and securing that it 's created according to the brands identity.
• Responsible of following and designing according to the assortment plan.
• Responsible of developing the concept given from CD and presenting the inspiration boards and colours for each collection in internal and external meetings.
• Responsible of product development.
• Responsible of sourcing materials together with the production team.
• Responsible of keeping the collection boards updated.
• Responsible of finding and teaching interns.
• Responsible of organizing and leading fittings of collection samples along with Production Managers and Pattern Cutter.
• Participating during photo shoots, styling, fashion shows etc.
• Reports to Assortment manager.
Desired qualifications/Education:
• A master degree in fashion/Textile with specialisation in knits, a knowledge in pattern construction as well as draping is required.
Key skills:
• The successful candidate has a great sense of trends, a strong language in silhouettes and a clear personal style.
• A natural eye and vision of creating knitting techniques.
• An understanding for Dagmar 's customer and lifestyle is required.
• Fast working and able to work and make decisions under pressure.
• Independent and self-conscious.
• A strong motivation and interest to create high-end collections.
• Fast and comfortable in working in illustrator and Photoshop.
