As early as 1928 A.P. Møller established a cargo liner service under the name of Maersk Line, linking the USA and the Far East. In 1956 ocean-borne containerisation was introduced with the shipment of a Sea-Land container from Port Newark, New Jersey, to Houston, Texas. Today, Maersk Line is one of the largest liner shipping companies in the world serving customers all over the globe.

More than 250 container vessels and 800,000 containers ensure a reliable and comprehensive worldwide coverage. Maersk Line's feeder vessels, as well as its trucks and dedicated trains, allow a unique concept of door-to-door services.

Advanced EDP systems ensure timely availability of cargo documents and provide customers with accurate round-the-clock, on-line information on the position of any given container anywhere in the world.

Maersk Line serves its customers through a network of its own offices and container terminals in more than 100 countries, which secure consistently excellent service to customers in all corners of the world.

Maersk Line is currently looking for a Key Client Coordinator.

Main responsibilities
• To act as support function for the key client manager in preparation of performance figures, reporting and other marketing related tasks
• Manage and respond to pricing and service inquiries
• Develop and maintain good working relationship with the client both globally as well as locally
• Instrumental in global budgets, forecasts and business related to the Key Client team
• Ensure quality standards are maintained
• Ensure MARS contracts are fully updated
• Responsible for outstanding / overdue management within respective area (including Disputed invoices)
• Responsible for area forecasting and space allocation (foresight) on specific trades

Your profile
• Experienced in a similar role is preferred but not essential
• Independent and initiative - we are a small team
• Responsible - the client is one of Maersk Line's top global clients and all actions have global implications
• Fluent in English, oral and written
• Ability to successfully communicate and negotiate at all levels in an organization
• Structured approach to problem solving

Expected learning experience
• How to deal with a large, high profile global client
• Knowledge of many systems
• Insight into the strategy process
• Learning what is included in the executive sponsorship
• Working with and understanding tenders
• How contract management interacts with route management
• General Sales work and Customer Service knowledge

Preferred startdate is as soon as possible.
