Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Within the Sales and Marketing department for Trucks, we have a group responsible for direct factory sales to international OEM's. We have currently 6 people focusing on this business and by that complementing Scania's normal business model which is to sell through Distributors and dealers. We are managing cross boarder business that would not have been done otherwise within the normal Scania structure. We are looking for a successor to one of our Key Account Managers who are now moving forward in the career.

Your Role

You will be responsible to manage a number of accounts, build strong relationships with them, identify challenges and opportunities, and find ways to assist with these challenges and opportunities. You will have to manage cross-functional collaboration to benefit the customer and to safe guard that we deliver according to the contract as well as following up Scania's profitability and grow the business. Prospecting and identifying new business opportunities with other OEM's is also be a part of the job.

Who you are?

We are looking for an entrepreneurial candidate with a strong customer value focus.

We want someone with good business acumen, excellent social skills and analytical abilities. Ability to smoothly interact and lead cross-functional teams within Scania as well as with third parties is a requirement. Well-developed communication, presentation, and leadership skills are required.

The ideal candidate is someone with an international sales experience, a business driven person with demonstrated business skills. Someone who is collaborative, fast-moving, and comfortable with change, excited to go above and beyond for customers, and with an academic technical- or business degree.

The candidate must be able to speak and write English fluently. Knowledge in other languages is highly welcome.
