We are currently looking for an energetic Key Account Manager for NetIQ's Nordic sales team.

Responsibilities
As Nordic Key Account Manager you will be responsible for expanding sales of NetIQ's product lines, in particular the NetIQ systems and security management products. The main focus is on a number of major accounts in vertical industries. The Key Account Manager will develop new relationships and partnerships with important corporate and government accounts across Scandinavia. As Key Account Manager, you report to the dales director who is based out of The Netherlands.
Your primary responsibilities will be to:
• meet and exceed revenue targets on an ongoing basis
• build Attachmate's and NetIQ's image and reputation in targeted enterprise accounts
• provide a forecast representing demand in the territory
• provide a detailed account plan for each major deal
• analyze the strengths and weaknesses of competitors
• promote sales successes in conjunction with the marketing team
• provide regular communication with other customer-touching departments, to ensure smooth operation
• create best practice in relationships within the targeted accounts
• ensure the company's interests in all dealings and transactions.
The position entails travelling within the Nordic region, as well as occasional travels to other European countries and to the United States.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
Education/experience
You are a team player with a minimum of seven years experience in direct sales. We would also like to see that you have a minimum of five years experience in a key account manager role. For this position you must be able to operate on a certain level of conceptual and strategic thinking, therefore we require applicants with a higher professional education.
You have proven new-business sales experience in complex enterprise-software environment. Furthermore, you have the ability to create and close new businesses as well as the ability to work with credibility at all levels, including board and operational levels.
We believe that you are a self-starter, able to work with minimum supervision. Strong communication skills in Swedish and English are required, as well as the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts. Skills in other Scandinavian languages are a plus.
Experience in IT-security management and the ability to work with local partners in an IT-security area is highly preferred.
As a person you are independent, energetic and hungry for success. You have high integrity and prefer to be in the challenger position as opposed to being a position protector.
