AstaReal AB is a research based biotech company with extended expertise in the field of micro algal production and natural astaxanthin. Astaxanthin is one of nature's strongest antioxidants with many positive effects on human and animal health. AstaReal AB offers branded unique products based on natural astaxanthin that are supported by scientifically proven health effects. Through a network of local distributors, they supply retail and bulk products globally. Together with their parent company, Fuji Chemical Industries Co., Ltd. in Japan, they are the world leader in research-based natural astaxanthin health products.

AstaReal is now looking for a Key Account Manager to join their team. AstaReal is a growing company where you will be required to drive marketing and sales activities through technical marketing, enhancing market presence and presenting our product portfolio to current and future customers. You will be required to work closely with specific distributors globally and support them as needed. You will also take part in exhibitions and conferences and assist in creating marketing collateral such as newsletters, technical sales materials and brochures.

You will be required to manage distributors and customer accounts, including the preparation of forecasts, budgets and reports. You will travel throughout Europe on a regular basis.

Since AstaReal is a small company you will also need to take part in some administration, logistics and quality related questions.

The position is based in Stockholm.

Your Profile

You have at least a Bachelors degree in food science or biochemistry. You should have 2 years of proven experience from sales and marketing or Key Account Management with a track record in B2B. You should be fluent in both written and spoken English plus one additional language (preferably French or Chinese). A minimum of 5 days travel a month will be required in the position.

As a person you are out going, self-propelled and result oriented.

You are a quick learner with a positive and flexible attitude. You should be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You have excellent interpersonal skills and are comfortable presenting to groups.
