To achieve this, we need a passionate and driven Key Account Manager based in Europe to strengthen our global KAM team and this is where you come in.

The Opportunity
With the goal to offer our partners the most optimal solution your main task will be to develop and maintain excellent relationships with key customers. By analysing customer requirements and facilitating various projects to come up with solutions to complex problems you ensure optimal customer delivery. In collaboration with your colleagues from product and sales teams you develop strategies to enhance growth for us as well as our partners.

Knowing your numbers is essential in this role and can be done by analysing and preparing forecasts and estimates for account revenue as well as preparing reports to Senior Management when requested.

Technology is at the core of our business and we are all proud to help our customers with innovative solutions and capture the opportunities of tomorrow. To be able to do so you need to stay on top of technology trends by participating in various industry events and conferences.

Your customers are located across Europe and the role will require extensive traveling. You can be based in any European country where you are close to our existing and potential Customers, ideally Germany, Italy, Sweden or Benelux.

The successful applicant
In order to succeed in this career, you need to be a person of high integrity and honesty.

Business is based on long sales cycles and your customers can be found on all levels within an organization including engineering, C-level, and admin. We are in other words looking for a person with excellent social skills who has a natural talent when it comes to building long-term relationships. You must be patient and have strong communication skills when it comes to developing strategic and tactical plans for increasing sales at large multinational and global accounts.

You need to be driven and able to work independently in a position where you will be managing your own time to a large extent.

Apart from being truly business minded and having a genuine technical interest, you also need to be a good negotiator and excellent at closing deals.
A degree in engineering or business is preferred. You need to have experience from a similar career and environment, where you have been responsible for your own Key Accounts on an international level for at least 5 years. Preferably we would like the successful candidate to have:

• Experience of sales including: preparation of written proposals, contract negotiations, account mapping, and presentation of products.

• Strong experience in HMI and/or automation related sales.

• Experience managing international or global accounts with multiple offices and buying influences
