Power Solutions is a business area within Sales and Marketing at Scania. We are a provider of core components integrated into the Original Equipment Manufacturer's (OEM) final products such as excavators, dump trucks and compressors. Power Solutions sales are complex and require to be managed through partnership orientation with end customers and offer a great span from sales and services to technology including electrification.
Work description
This is a key role within the Sales department, where you will be part of developing Power Solutions' growth and securing our long term position as a sustainable partner. In the role, you will have a global responsibility to drive the business for some of our key customers. You will be working in direct contact with various functions, all the way from R&D, purchasing, marketing, service department, and top management at identified OEM customers
You will work with a great team and with outstanding product benefits such as superior fuel consumption, reliability and robustness.
Your role is to develop the relationship/partnership with the customer while coordinating/leading the team of application engineers and service managers not only at Scania Head Office but also together with the Scania Business Units globally.
This position will require traveling as a natural part of the work.
You will report to Fredrik Järild, Vice President Sales.
Your profile
You are a customer-oriented and commercially driven person. As a team player, you are inspired by working in a multi-cultural environment. Additionally, you are well-organized, have good communication skills, and can represent your organization in different settings.
Most likely you have a commercial or technical university degree or equivalent experience and working in an international environment is meriting. Business knowledge within non road machinery or heavy vehicles, B2B sales, electrification and/or other relevant background is meriting. You fluently master English.
