Position description:
We are looking for one Senior Catia V5 Sheet Metal Engineer to develop our components in in new car projects, from project start until approved project launch. The vacancy is available within Front Structure/Front Floor group . You will be part of an engineering team developing engineering solutions that fulfill attribute properties such as crash, NVH and Strength/Durability while fulfilling manufacturing process demands within decided cost and time frames. The work includes contacts with other engineering departments, CAE teams and manufacturing engineering within our company as well as with external suppliers.
Main responsibilities:
• Catia V5 sheet metal engineering
• Contact with CAE, other R&D members and manufacturing to agree of required progress
• Be responsible to ensure that the technical documentation (3D Model, TCE, 3DPMI) is available at the right level and at the right time
Required qualifications:
• Mechnical education at university level or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years engineering experience in Catia V5 and TCE
• Good knowledge in sheet metal design is meritorious * Knowledge in Catia V5 FEM Analysis is meritorious
• Fluent in English, spoken and written Personal qualities
• Communicative
• Self-driven
