hela Sverige Bravura Young Engineers is on behalf of Neonet looking for talented Java developers to join the developing team at the Stockholm office. Neonet is a global agency brokerage firm and technology provider, offering professional market participants neutral, high speed brokerage services and advanced trading software solutions. As a Java developer at Neonet, you will work with development of the company’s securities trading platform and supporting systems. Neonet take pride in using technology to create simple and pragmatic solutions to complex business problems.
You will be an important part of the company’s Java team and involved in all aspects of the software life cycle, from planning and design to implementation, integration and production rollouts. To fit in at Neonet you enjoy working in a fast changing, unstructured and creative environment close to product owners and users.
Who we are looking for
Successful candidates has completed a BSc (Högskoleingenjör) or MSc (Civilingenjörsexamen) in computer science or equivalent. It is an advantage if you have a proven track-record of Java development. You are familiar with the ins and outs of modern lightweight application programming in Java and have a good knowledge of the whole application stack. You easily move from setting up the server operating system, choosing server-side frameworks to web applications, databases and script languages.
General technical skills:
Eclipse, Spring, Apache Tomcat, Linux, PostgreSQL, Hibernate/JPA, web services, REST, JMS, GWT 2, Ext JS, Quartz, Maven 2, QuickFIX/J
Personality
As a person you are self-motivated and like to get things done. You are a team player, and communicate well with other team members as well as with users and customers. You have an insatiable appetite for learning new things and are always looking for the next cool thing. Since Neonet is a global environment you need to speak and write Swedish as well as English fluently.
