Are you an visual effects artist in the early stages of your career who has a real passion for visual effects? Are you passionate about gaming?
We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for you to become part of our growing team of artists at Stunlock Studios. Here at Stunlock Studios, we are developing competitive and community driven games, always with the players in focus. We are looking for a passionate visual effects artist to work with the development and production of in game visual effects.
What you will do
Create visually stunning and impactful effects for a wide range of characters and abilities.
Collaborate with Animation, SFX and Design teams in shaping ability kits for new characters.
Work closely with Unity and the game engine.
What we're looking for
Essential
Passion for creation of visual effects
Good understanding of stylized effects
Good understanding of how game characters interact with visual effects tied to character abilities
Able to create stylized FX textures from scratch, matching established style, to be used in real-time game assets
Solid game design awareness
Experienced with tools such as Maya and photoshop
Experience with 3d graphics, particle systems, physics ribbons etc, preferably in Unity
Desirable
Basic understanding of animation, modelling and illustration
Good understanding of the Battlerite visual style
