ÅF Embedded Systems is constantly growing and we are now looking for you, a junior test engineer to an exciting assignment located at one of our clients. The assignment will allow you to work hands-on with hardware testing but you will also get the chance to handle, understand and define test requirements.
You will for example:
Analyze and review design specifications in order to update existing test cases and/or to create new ones if necessary
Based on the analysis, request proper test environments
Independently execute tests and diagnostics solution in test environments
Report the results in a clear and traceable way through the internal tools and give retrospective inputs to the Test Manager
Evaluate the effectiveness of the test effort and based on that propose and drive improvements to the test process
Who are you?
You are an engineer and have some documented experience from the test engineering area as well as basic knowledge about electronics and embedded SW testing on a system level. You also have basic knowledge of test automation methods, simulation tools and virtual verification methods. You feel confident using CANoe and CANalyzer for component testing.
You see yourself as an independent person who enjoy driving and paving your own way at work. You want to build competence within the test area and you want to be a part of an experienced team with a lot of forward thinking. You speak and write English unhindered because this is necessary in the communication within the company.
