hela Sverige The Junior Technical Writer will work closely with the Knowledge Manager in writing articles, step-by-step guides and diverse marketing content, as well in the maintenance of the existing content.
Main tasks & responsibilities
Write and maintain end-user documentation about APSIS One.
Aid in the creation of diverse marketing material aimed to highlight upcoming or newly released features.
Occasionally review video scripts.
Goals & Expectations
The Junior Technical Writer will gain extensive experience working in the IT sector within the areas of Product, Knowledge, Marketing and Research & Development. You will gain a multidisciplinary ability to communicate technical concepts for different audiences. Technical Writing is a coveted resource widely needed in the IT industry, and hands-on experience will build upon your curriculum in terms of experience and skill.
Reporting to the Knowledge Manager means you will also be offered the unique opportunity to take part in the rise of Product Knowledge within the IT industry, as well as the transformation of APSIS as a company with its new platform APSIS One.

We are aware of the fact that Technical Writing is a practical skill that requires training, experience, and often guidance. However, we welcome people who don't have any experience or proven ability to perform this role. Rather, we are excited to bring in a person who is able to quickly learn and adapt to this writing style. Experience and/or ability to perform in this role will bring many opportunities to individuals that are interested in the areas of data-driven marketing, technology and content production.
Qualifications
Harder Skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in English literature or linguistics, journalism, communication, marketing, media studies or similar. Strong background in writing.
Perfectly fluent in the English language in both spoken and written form, native or near-native level.
General knowledge of computer science, hands-on experience working with varied platforms and overall confidence with learning about complex technical solutions.
Ability to edit images with Photoshop or Pixelmator at a basic level.
Familiarity with markup language systems, like HTML.

Role & Placement
This position will be an on-demand contract for 6 months, maximum 20 hours/week and will be placed at our Malmö office.
