Dina arbetsuppgifterWork tasks
As a technical tester your main task is to support the more senior testers in their daily work. You are responsible for reviewing and executing on test plans, reviewing defect reports, running verification and regression testing on defect fixes, and reporting on test activities to the test manager. From the beginning you will not be responsible for writing your own test plans, but you will be responsible to provide feedback and understanding of the written test plans and project specifications. You should also be able to help with verification of ''hotfix'' issue that are time sensitive. As you develop in your position, you will gain more responsibilities for creating and maintaining test plans and ownership of the quality of assigned areas of responsibility of the product.
KvalifikationerEducation, experience and personal qualities
• Knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies, tools and processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience working with Windows operating systems
• Self-motivated with a tenacious approach to problem solving and a strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and plan ahead to deliver high quality work by scheduled deadlines
• Previous experience working in software QA or high level technical support preferred but not required
• Relevant academic background is a plus, but not required
To succeed in the role, you should have great problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask and plan ahead to be able to consistently deliver high-quality work. You should be a team player with a positive attitude that can "hit the ground running." Clear and honest communication will be essential to success in this role.
