We've built a couple of popular, real-life games in central Gothenburg. Companies from Sweden and abroad have asked us if they can purchase the games and set up their own.
Problem:
We have no sales material and no documentation. We can't sell any games without proper instructions for how to build and operate them.
Solution:
You get straight into the very core of the business and start creating an easy-to-read overview for our potential customers. The output should be easy enough for a layman to grasp, but also detailed enough that someone with technical experience can set up and connect everything together.
Practicalities:
We'll pay you 150kr/hour + 13% in vacation pay (equivalent to 25 000kr/mo, full-time), we expect you to work 15-25hrs/week during 2-3 months. We'll get you a laptop, a chair and a camera and then you're responsible for planning your hours on your own as long as you deliver results on time. You'll be in tight contact with our founder and our developer, who can answer all questions about the technology, but it is up to you to ask the questions.
Our game site and our office are both within a couple of minutes walk from Domkyrkan.
Prerequisities:
Good, written English with a technical vocabulary and the ability to keep explanations short, precise and understandable.
Fluent in spoken English or Swedish.
Committed and self-going personality.
Basic experience with flowcharts/diagrams, in Lucidcharts, Powerpoint, MS Visio, Dia or other similar tool.
Basic understanding of image manipulation (crop, scale, contrast)
Technical interest with basic understanding of multiple fields such as:
electrical power (Difference between a Volt and an Ampere?).
computer networking (What's an IP-address? Difference between a LAN and Internet)
simple constructions (difference between a wood screw and nuts/bolts)
logic, you are able to shorten this statement into a shorter one, or split it into two to do away with the "or":
if (the alarm is ringing and the door is closed) or (if the alarm is ringing and the alarm code is given)) then stop ringing
