www.fingerprints.comOur Tools development team is looking for a passionate and ambitious SW developer. The Tools team is a vital part of the Fingerprints company interacting with customers globally. The deliverables from our team enables the sales person to demonstrate our sensors, the developers to develop first class products and our customers to produce millions of sensors a week. The team is responsible for the full life cycle of these tools. The team consists of 10 people today with various background and experience. We are looking for a person with a strong technical interest and with the ambition to grow under guidance of the team. We have an open atmosphere and a learning culture.
The role
In this role you design, document, implement and modify FPC software components related to our SW tools. FPC creates platform independent tools for Windows, Linux, Android and other target platforms. The components and the functionality are shared and used within our R&D organization and also by our customers. You will be involved in all technical aspects of the components during the lifetime of a product.
The work location will be Malmö. International travel to FPC suppliers, partners, and customers may occur.
Your background
You hold a university degree within software development and have 0-2 years working experience in relevant areas. Knowledge in C and low level programming is needed. You should have a strong interest in working with the latest technology and also learning new programming languages (primarily C#). An understanding of test-driven development, hardware, implementation of drivers, loaders/security/flash, WPF, MVVM and production test is beneficial.
We expect you to have good analytical skills and the ability to generate creative and well-structured solutions. You need to be comfortable working in a growing company, where you will be expected to assume considerable personal responsibility for your own activities and the company's success. This also requires you to be a team player who contributes to an open and positive atmosphere in the workplace. With the right ambition you can learn a lot from the team.
